Origin: Known in England in late 1800s. Sweet ,slightly honeyed, plenty of fruit, balancing acidity; crisp, juicy. Cooked, keeps shape; sweet delicate flavour. Retains fresh quality until February. Harvest in mid October. Storage: November-April.
