Excelsior Charter School's Young Marines say the Pledge of Allegiance at the commencement of their graduation ceremony held at the Maj. Gen. James L. Day Conference Center aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., July 28. The Young Marines endured a week of training on base to include tackling the obstacle course, swimming training, conditioning hikes and more all in an effort to give them a taste of Marine Corps life.
