The new Airbus A350 XWB long-range jetliner during a media presentation event at the Airbus plant in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany The jetliner is propelled by two RR Trent XWB engines and can carry up to 350 passengers a range of between 14,350 and 15,300 kilometers. The A350 uses lightweight carbon-composite materials instead of aluminium, allowing airlines to make savings on fuel. It is scheduled to enter service in late 2014.
