All Saints’ church, Wetheringsett-cum-Brockford, Suffolk, UK


In 1550, Richard Haklyut, chronicler of Elizabethan maritime and commercial explorations and proponent of more, became rector there and remained so until his death 1616. He seems to have done a lot more chronicling than rectoring, but then that was what curates were for.
