pincushion, Anonymous, 1796, sewn, General: 28 x x 5cm (280 x 103 x 50mm), Stiffly lined pincushion in dark blue silk. In the center a perforated hole for a thimble. IR: WK, with pins pinned above the hole, below 1796. The pincushion has a pocket of purple silk on both sides with blue-white flowered and striped silk on top. The whole is lined with white silk ribbon. Underlay of dark blue silk and on one building two perforated holes in which probably a pair of scissors and an elastic needle were kept, 1884
