Glass jug, Late Imperial, 3rd–4th century , Roman, Glass; blown and trailed, H.: 4 1/8 in. ( cm), Glass, Small jug. Translucent light blue green; handle, foot ring, and trail in same color. Uneven rim folded over and into flaring mouth; cylindrical neck, expanding downwards; biconical body; low, applied foot ring; flat bottom, with pontil scar; three-ribbed strap handle, attached to upper body with long downward claws, drawn up, round, and in, folded down and up, and attached to underside of mouth and edge of rim over trail, with projecting hollow loop
