UK, London, Docklands, Isle of Dogs. At Millwall Docks in the south of the island, early 1974. The Glass Bridge or Glengall Grove Bridge, entrance Tiller Road (west). The footbridge passed over the Millwall Inner Dock.


1,140’ long, 30’ above ground and 7’ 6’’ wide at foot level. John Mowlem built the bridge and it opened in 1965. Local people said the bridge was scary for some and exciting for others.
