The lower floor of the mainbuilding is divided into a reception room — dining room for theoflicers and attendants — store room for bed linen and other arti-cles — a small kitchen with range, complete with closets, pantries,etc. A bath and wash room, with a sleeping room for the super-intendent of the lower dormitory, completes the lower upper stories are occupied as rooms for the oflicers andattendants, with a public parlor in the second story, and a recita-tion room, and two rooms used for hospital purposes, and asewing room in the third story. From the west side of the main building extends a wing twostories in height, used as dormitories. Here the beds are arrangedlengthwise of the building in four rows. These rooms are wellventilated, light and airy. On the south side of the main build-ing is a wing seventy-five feet in length, and twenty-five in width,the lower story of which is used as a dining room for the childrenof the Home, and a large kitchen in which is a range sufficientfor cooking for a large number of persons. The second story ofthis wing is occupied as a school room capable of seating onehundred and fifty pupils. An office is also attached to this buildi
