The Dalton is a small cargo boat of 70m of length built in 1877 which transported lead ingots when it failed on February 19th, 1928.

Avec un épais brouillard, le bateau heurta le plateau peu profond qui entoure la partie sud de l'île et s'échoua près du débarcadère de l'île.
