Hickling, Melton Mowbray 6th Febuary 2022: Its ok to feed the Swans, Ducks, Moorhens and local wildlife at the village basin, Parish council is encouraging visiitors and locals to help out. The Swan population is a approximately down by 80 percent after birds contracting avian flu virus. The basin wildlife is a local attraction over looked by traditional 18th Century pub and tea rooms.
