Two kayakers paddling in the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, British Columbia, Canada
Expedition kayakers Gerry Moffatt and Wink Jones paddling through a Class V Rapid Called Entry Falls on the Stikine River in September 1998. The section of the Stikine that flows through the Grand Canyon is arguably one of the most challenging and formidable kayaking run in the World. It has only been kayaked by a handful of kayakers, and many teams have had to abort their expeditions and climb out of the canyon. The Stikine is a 25 mile canyon with dozens of class V rapids that generally takes three days to complete. (releasecode: M2, J1)
