Have sold a lot of them this summer to growers who have tried it and who saw it in my garden. The growers like this better than any other orange they have tried. 17171 16895 (Dec) (Com) Huge medium red. Five or more large massive blooms open on a very tall husky plant. Feel sure you will like this. (Dec) Immense rich smoky of an attractive shade. But for the fact that this variety crooks a good deal it would have been in- troduced, as everyone likes the color. But it does usually need staking especially from large bulbs. Flowers are very large and stand out prominently. Have had more good reports on this seedling than any other unnamed seedling I have e c) o m) cerise.
