Nov. 25, FAMILY OF JOHN. 125 FOURTH GENERATION AND CHILDREN. 226. Peter4 Hitchcock (John3, John2, Matthias1) son of John (Munson) Hitchcock, was born Oct. 14, 1713. He marriedHannah Smith, June 18, 1737. He lived one mile south of CheshireCenter. His house built by him in 1737, afterward occupied byCapt. David Hitchcock is still standing. The timbers and raftersused in its construction were from the old first church of Cheshire,,which was torn down that year. He was a carpenter. He diedSept. 15, 1774, and his wife twelve days later Sept. 27, 1774. HIS CHILDREN WERE : i. Keuben5, b. May 11, 1738; cl. mim.
