9 February 2018. The long-anticipated deal between Richard Desmond and Trinity Mirror was announced on Friday 9 February. The deal, which is estimated to be valued at £ will see the Trinity Mirror (owner of the daily Mirror) take ownership of the Daily Express and Daily Star newspapers along with OK Magazine.
