This is often starved and relegated to some poor, out- of-the-way corner; but this popular and fragrant subject, like most other plants, repays for being well treated, and if the bed is given a liberal topdressing of well-decayed manure in fall or early spring, it will show the effect by increased size, number and vigor of the flowers.
