Dutch Colonial Revival House, Hollis Park Gardens, Queens, New York
Dutch Colonial Revival house built in 1921 in Hollis Park Gardens, Queens. The development was created in 1906. Attractive homes were built on large lots and sold to middle-class merchants and professionals. Development was slow in the 1910s, pickng up in the 1920s. Surrounding areas on the flat plain were built up with tightly packed rows of smaller houses in the 1920s.
