Troutbeck Park Farm, Cumbria. The fell known as The Tongue is behind the farm, overshadowed by the higher peaks of Ill Bell and the Park Fells behind. The farm is associated with Beatrix Potter, who bought up the farm and the land when it was threatened by developers. She chose to run the farm herself, and built up a celebrated flock of Herdwick Sheep. The farm and the land were left to the National Trust on her death.
