A chromolithograph, a battle between knights in shining armour and the soldiers of Diabolus the Nasty Giant. The prone knight in the foreground is about to be killed by the looks of it, and his magic socks stolen by the enemy! Oh noes! It’s from A Relation of the Holy War, by John Bunyan; the copy i have is dated 1864, although of course it relates to the Crusades.
