Quota- tions aviTii^e a little higher than a week ago. Carnations continue to sell well, with Laddie up to $10 and other varieties from $4 to $6. Eosalia, Eo- sette and Maine Sunshine have been making $6 to $8. Violets are slacking up and singles are near the end, with values from 50 cents to $1 per hundred. There are great numbers of remark- ably fine sweet peas and $2 now buys the best. The finest color seen is Zvo- lanek's Rose. ' Bulbous material holds up extremely well in price and there is no surplus to sell at ruinous prices, as in former years, of either tulips or narcissi. There are moderate-sized quantities of Span- ish iris, which sell at $3 per dozen. Snapdragons are not seen in great num- bers yet and so far have sold well. Yel- low marguerites and bachelor's buttons are arriving more freely; so are other miscellaneous flowers. Lilies are low in price. Callas also .-ire selling rather cheaply. Tansies are on the wiine, .nlthough a good many still come in. Supplies of cut acacia are nearing the end. Valley has been selling better. CattleyMs are not selling particularly well. A good number of Mossise are now available. There is a fair supply of gardenias. Pot ]i]nnt trade continues good, with Darwin tulips, roses in variety, hydran- geas, ericas and genistas the leaders.
