Bone in beige : humeral head (wih its two heads : the capitulum and the trochlea), radial head and cubital head (or ulna, with its bulge : the olecranon). Ligaments in green : articular capsule (surrounding the entire articulation), annular ligament (sectionned, connecting the heads of the radius and the cubitus, covered by a think layer of cartilage). Cartilages in blue, covering the boneous extremities and the annular ligament. Synovia (membrane and synovial liquid) in red, in the space defined by the articular capsule.
