This artwork ('Ronce de Pensylvanie') is from the third volume of 'Traite des Arbres Fruitiers' (5 volumes, from 1768) by the French physician and botanist Henri Louis Duhamel du Monceau (1700-1782). Held in the Botany Library at the Natural History Museum, London, UK. The artwork for the series was by Claude Aubriet and Magdeleine Basseporte.
