Christian Miao worship in a church in Kunming capital of Yunnan Province China These Miao originate from the Zhaotong Area of Yunnan at the border to Guizhou Province They were evangelized by Baptist missionaries around Samual Pollard who invented a script to translate the Bible into the Miao language
