Lacatana, were honored during the ceremony. NJMOH’S mission is to identify, retrieve, and intern the cremated remains of veterans forgotten in New Jersey funeral homes. To date, 506 veterans have been located due to their efforts. Of those, more than 290 cremains have been reunited with their families.
