One other feature of the Ghiza Zoo must receive brief mention. This is anaquarium devoted to the exhibition of asmany species as possible of the fishes in-habiting the Nile system. At the presenttime a very large number of species—includingthe curious enamel-scaled Bichir, with its longrow of sail-like finlets down the back, and itslobate and fringed fins—are living in the tanks ;and as others are obtained, it is hoped thatmuch additional information will be gatheredin regard to the fish-fauna of the vLJjiv^ ibl V l\ illi /ou
