On page 320 is a commodein inlay of various woods, withmounts and ornaments of giltbronze,cast and chased by JacquesCaffieri. In its class this is themost remarkable piece of furniture,of this famous cabinet-maker andmetal-chaser, who represents theearlier Louis XV. style at Mahogany Commode with Ormolu Mounts.
