His efforts were successful, as theTrenton people agreed to furnish the necessary capitalshould the factory be moved to their city. About threeacres of land were purchased in Chambersburg, a suburb,and the erection of a factory immediately capital was then increased to $250,000, the namechanged to The Trenton Watch Company, and a newBoard of Directors consisting of J.
