Broken pottery line Ottomans laid in 1541 renovating the Low - Level Aqueduct built in 1st century BC to get water to Temple Mt. from Solomon Pools.
Broken area of the ceramic pipeline laid by the Ottoman Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent in the year 1541. They did renovate then the Lower Aqueduct putting it also in this underground tunnel hewn through the mountain on Armon Hanetziv or which the United Nations Jerusalem Middle East Headquarters is, the tunnel was hewn or built in the 1st century BC by the Hasmonean King Alexander Jannaeus. It was built as part of the 14 mile or 21 kilometer long Lower Aqueduct that brought water to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem from Solomon's Pools south of Bethlehem which are 30 meters higher.
