However, because each path in theprocedures depends on previous outcomes, deviating from the procedures maycause troubleshooting errors that can be misleading. NOTE Recall that the LAN Node Diagnostic (LANDIAG) Test 16, Hood LoopbackTest, does not apply to HP StarLAN connections. For StarLAN connections,refer to LANDIAG Test 14 (see Chapter 4).
