Its coursesembrace instruction in Pipe Organ, Piano, Voice, Vio-lin, and Harmony, together with lectures on MusicalHistory. During the past year a recital has been given bythe pupils every other Thursday evening, and also a termrecital at the close of each term. The Conservatory Fac-ulty have also given two fine recitals, much to the delightand enjoyment of the music loving public. The equipment of the department has been muchextended by the purchase of new pianos and the gift of afine Pipe Organ. This latter was presented by theMisse
