One ounce for 100 feet of drill; 5 or 6 pounds in drills for an acre. Yellow Globe Dan vers. The most profitable variety to grow; a good keeper and a standard sort. Per pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; % lb., 35c; 1 lb., $1. White or Silver Skin. One of the leading sorts of white flat onion; an excellent keeper and good yielder; largely grown for pickling. Per pkt., 5c; oz., 20c.; % lb., 75c.; 1 lb., $ Larg'e Red Weathersfield. A favorite sort for general crop; a large yielder and good keeper. Per pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; X lb., 45c; 1 lb., $ Southport Yellow Globe. Nearly round; of mild flavor; a good keeper; one of the best. Per pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; % lb., 50c; 1 lb., $ Spanish and Italian Varieties. Spanish. King or Prize Taker. Of a rich straw color, and of enormous size, averaging 12 or 14 inches in circumference; the flavor is mild and delicate, making the Prize Taker a favorite for slicing for salads.
