Stephen Richards, Jacob Leisler,Obadiah Hiint, Benjamin Wynkoop, RobertCrook, Thomas Roberts, Paul Richard, andIsaac De Peyster, Sr., living near the south-east bastion of the fort, presented a petition to the governor and coun-cil, June 15, 1724, setting forth
