I have the honor to present the following report of the work of this Di\Tsionfor the year ending November 30, 19-24. The I)i^^sion attempts first of all to prevent the outbreak of contagious diseaseamong oiu domestic animals, and to that extent assist in maintaining them in acondition of health. If such can be accomplished it operates to render them asource of revenue to their owners and to conserve in great measure that portionof the public food supply derived from their products while li%ing and from theircarcasses when slaughtered.
