Christ Church Cathedral was formerly the first Anglican Cathedral of Montreal. The original one was destroyed by fire in 1856.


Christ Church Cathedral was formerly the first Anglican Cathedral of Montreal. The original one was destroyed by fire in 1856. The present cathedral, a Neo-gothic structure, was designed by architect Frank Wills. It was completed in 1859. Under the church there's one of the biggest malls of Montreal.
