Ignored by the local’s busy fishing Sir Anthony Gormley’s ‘Look II’ 12ft sculpture still makes a striking figure at its home on West Hoe Pier Plymouth. A human figure looks out to sea symbolising “the yearning to travel across the horizon to establish a new life in another place.” A controversial purchase by the city council it looks comfortable beside the local’s who fish from the pier. High art in a human setting.
