Ptolemaic Egyptian funerary box of Djedhor, 200-30 BC. Louvre N2644 or 295. Decoration: 1st register; mirror image of god Anubis, god with dog's head, standing, symmetrical, carrying vase & strip of cloth before gates of the afterlife with a sign of heaven. 2nd register; mummy flanked by Isis, standing protecting & Nephthys also standing & protecting. At the top along cornice uraeus winged solar disk. Names on box: Djedhor; Neferibre (father); Isis; Nephthys; Anubis. Height: 46 cm; Width: 22 cm; Thickness: 26 cm, Sully room 644
