Army Reserve Soldiers serve as Color Guard for their WWI legacy units during Centennial Commemorations at the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery located in Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, France, Sep. 23. The Soldiers stood unflinchingly in the pouring rain and wind for nearly two hours as the main ceremony took place. Commemorations were held across the region to honor the sacrifice made by service members who fought and helped tip the balance in favor of the Allies in decisive battles such as the Marne, St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne.
