151104-N-GG858-003 INDIAN OCEAN (Nov. 4, 2015) Sailors assigned to San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), pull alongside stranded Sri Lankan fishing vessel M/V Lakshan. Lakshan became stranded because of engine problems, flagging down Anchorage that had been passing by. Anchorage rendered aid to the crew, providing food and water. M/V Beyanara was dispatched and arrived the following day to take over assistance of the Lakshan.
