Proboscis fully developed ; palpi short, upturned, the 2nd joint rougldy scaled; eyes large, round, smooth, not ciliated; frons and vertex of head with ridges of scales ; auteunse of male bipeetinate to apex, with moderate branches dilated at extremity ; thorax quadrately scaled, the tegulffi with slight dorsal ridge; fore tibiai with long curved claw on inner side; mid and hind tibioj spiued. Fore wing with veins 3 and 5 from close to angle of cell; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell.
