Chondrodermatitis

Chondrodermatitis lesion on the rim of the pinna of the ear due to chondrodermatitis nodularis helicis (CNH). The patient has had surgery to treat it, but it did not work. CNH is a benign (non-cancerous) painful lesion common in men over age 50 caused by reduced blood flow to the cartilage of the ear.
