The Widforss Trail is in the Grand Canyon National Park, North Rim. Widforss Trail Widforss Trail on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was named for Gunnar Widforss who became known for his paintings of this area in the 1930's. The trailhead is located 11 miles south of the North Rim Entrance Station, or miles north of the North Rim Visitors Center on Hwy 67.
