Senior Airman Bo Brauer, 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron cable and antenna maintenance technician, descends into a flooding manhole to perform emergency repair on severed cables at a deployed location in Southwest Asia, Dec. 14. The base, which is located in an area that typically receives an average of inches of rain annually, has received inches in the last 24 hours. Brauer is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
