Karny), Smithfield, , Kannemeyer, 1908 ; its ovipositor still very short, though already rather slender ; bands of tergites easily distinguishable, but not yet as well defined as in the larger specimens. Then I found amongst the material of the British Museum a true crassipes (?) for comparison, and from this I, have been convinced as to the specific difference of the two (compare key to the species). All thoracic and abdominal tergites with well-defined black bands.
