Muscles of the shoulder joint, tendon insertions, rotator cuff. In this drawing, the joint is positioned in posterior view with the arm raised. This allows you to see part of the rotator cuff muscles. These muscles are the infraspinatus, small round, supraspinatus and biceps-brachial muscle. The brachial biceps, more precisely the long biceps, is not officially part of the cap. But it stabilizes the shoulder joint. The subscapular is visible only on the anterior part of the shoulder. So it is not shown in this view. The deltoid muscle is visible with a transparency effect to see the tendon insertions of the biceps. The large round muscle is also shown here. It can be seen on the lower and outer part of the scapula.
