We are payingabout two hundred pounds per cent TAXA-TION, and the interest of the national debt isabout one pound five shillings per second, (or$5,55.) 1 his, my dear son, is bad news of ourcountry. May the Lord save us from thedreadful evils which threaten us ! But I must close after acquainting you withthe state of the family.
