ISS solar array repair. NASA astronaut Scott Parazynski (far right) carrying out a spacewalk to repair one of the solar arrays on the International Space Station (ISS). He is anchored to a foot restraint on the end of the Orbiter Boom Sensor System (OBSS). Astronaut Doug Wheelock (far left) assisted by keeping an eye on the distance between Parazynski and the array. The spacewalk took over 7 hours, during which Parazynski cut a snagged wire and installed homemade stabilizers to strengthen the damaged solar array.
