Orbita Britannica Walk Robert Steel, who was planning to set off in March 1995 to walk 4,444 miles round Britain to mark the centenary of the National Trust, raise £150,000 and celebrate his 75th birthday en route. He is standing on the Needles on the Isle of Wight and he did achieve all his aims. He raised the cash, walked right round the coastline and had his Big Birthday en route.
