A small platue in the Magaliesberg Mountains of South Africa, covered with rounded quartzite boulders. The Magaliesberg Mountain is a small mountain chain in the Gauteng and North-west provinces of South Africa. The mountains consist predominantly of layers of shale, quartzite and dolomite of the Transvaal Supergroup which was uplifted and tilted about 2000 million years ago.
