Army, to a New York paper:— * * * On our way back we stopped at a point called Good-years Landing, in order to visit our friend, Mr. Andrew Goodyear, in whosehonor the slough is named. Mr. Goodyear owns a large tract of land, borderingthe slough, and sends the products of his ranch to San Francisco by sloops, outthrough the slough to Suisun Bay.
