Picture by Roger Bamber 12 October 2005 The Grade 1 listed Art Deco De La Warr Pavilion at Bexhill on Sea East Sussex reopened on Friday 14 October 2005 after a 20 month restoration programme costing £8 million The building, designed by Eric Mendelsohn, reopened 70 years after first opening in 1935 as a centre for Art Architecture and live performances.
