TINIAN, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 14, 2018) Mr. Willie Nunn, federal coordinating officer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), discusses Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) relief efforts with Rear Adm. Brad Cooper, commander, Amphibious Forces, Seventh Fleet. The Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team assisted local agencies and FEMA with distributing emergency relief supplies after the island was struck by Typhoon Mangkhut, September 10.
